Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr

Paladin is now LHH Recruitment Solutions! We are working with our Seattle, WA credit union client to recruit a Marketing Strategy Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your credit union or retail banking industry knowledge to inform the brand's ongoing strategy of growing their consumer customer base and lines of business. You will work with senior executives, marketing leadership and retail banking leaders to deeply understand the needs of current and prospective retail customers. You will use your historical knowledge and information from these teams to scope integrated campaigns, strategy and creative that drives new business through the retail channel. To be a fit, you should bring 3+ years of marketing experience in the credit union or banking world, with in-depth knowledge of the consumer, retail banking space in Seattle. Additional years of experience or experience managing team members is a plus, as there is a path to growth in this department.

This team is deeply integrated into the Seattle community, so a passion for understanding the Seattle consumer is crucial! This is a hybrid flexible role, estimated to be 2-3 days a week onsite at their office or at locations across the larger Seattle metro. Pay for this role ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 annually, depending on relevant experience, with potential for slight flexibility for in-depth, credit union industry experience. You will:

  • Leverage your background in the credit union or retail banking space to scope integrated campaigns and initiatives that drive opportunity to branches and in the consumer space
  • Work closely with company executives, branch leaders and cross-functional marketing teams to deeply understand the retail customer base, review analytics and identify opportunities for new product offerings and new ways to engage customers
  • Serve as a true strategist, providing insights, market intel and subject matter expertise to various teams
  • Play a critical role in driving growth, customer and community engagement at the branch level, guiding campaign direction for events, digital campaigns, community involvement opportunities and similar
  • Lead small teams and projects with the goal of growing this function

Your experience and profile should include:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in the credit union or banking sector, required
  • Deep knowledge of the B2C and retail banking space, with experience crafting consumer focused campaigns and marketing strategy
  • Experience as a team lead or people manager, preferred
  • Excellent project management and communications skills, with the ability to work across internal teams, with partners and with executive staff
  • Dedicated experience crafting marketing strategy with leadership teams and translating needs to execution teams
