Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Three to five years of related experience writing and editing projects preferred; portfolio of relevant previous projects preferred.
• Knowledge of banking or financial services industry is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with operations or marketing representatives to understand product and marketing needs.
• Presents design ideas and recommendations to Director of Marketing, committee, or sales team.
• Develops, schedules, publishes, and monitors social media content.
• Creates engaging graphics, videos, photography, reels, stories, and other digital content.
• Assists with website content updates, landing pages, blogs, and other digital communications.
• Helps develop promotional materials including brochures, flyers, postcards, signage, billboards, digital ads, promotional items, and event materials.
• Assists with financial literacy programs and educational presentations in local schools and community organizations.
• Assists with internal communications, employee announcements, newsletters, and other bank communications.
• Assists with filming - scripts and production.
• Evaluates success of campaigns when completed.
• Attends trade shows and community events - staffs the company booth/table when needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Marketing Specialist will promote the company’s products and services to existing and prospective customers through strategic use of graphics, logos, and other promotional products. The Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of City National Bank’s marketing, communications, public relations, advertising, and community outreach efforts.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Creative mindset with the ability to develop fresh and engaging marketing ideas.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements:
