Tiger Data, formerly Timescale, is seeking a Lead Gen Specialist (part-time contractor) to convert marketing engagement into qualified sales opportunities while supporting demand gen, ABM, and lifecycle marketing programs.

This is a 20-hours-per-week, remote-first role, offering hands-on experience across sales and marketing. You’ll follow up leads, reach out via email, phone, and LinkedIn, and help track results to inform campaigns.

Lead Gen Specialist (Part‑time Contractor)

As a Lead Gen Specialist, you’ll help turn marketing engagement into qualified sales opportunities while supporting demand gen, ABM, and lifecycle marketing programs.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is proactive, organized, comfortable communicating with prospects, and eager to gain hands‑on experience across different areas of sales and marketing. This is a part‑time role, 20‑hours a week.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Follow up with leads generated from events, webinars, content syndication, digital campaigns, and other marketing programs.
• Engage prospects through personalized email, phone, and LinkedIn outreach.
• Research prospects and accounts to better understand their business, role, and potential needs.
• Schedule qualified meetings with the appropriate Account Executive.
• Support ABM programs through account research, contact identification, and campaign coordination.
• Assist with lifecycle and nurture programs, including email campaigns, event follow-up, and prospect re‑engagement.
• Keep lead and campaign information accurate and up to date.
• Track basic campaign and lead follow‑up results and share learnings with the Marketing team.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3 years of experience in marketing, business development, sales development, or a related role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Curious and comfortable learning technical products and new industries.
• Proactive, dependable, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working toward measurable goals.
• Collaborative and excited to work across Marketing and Sales

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $50 to $70 an hour depending on experience.
