ProspectBlue is partnering with a Richmond, VA firm to hire a Marketing Specialist who will develop visuals and digital experiences across internal and external channels. You will turn concepts into engaging content, manage video production, and ensure brand consistency.

The role requires strong design instincts, experience with digital and video content, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion. In-office in Richmond, VA.

Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of experience in content creation, video production, digital storytelling, or graphic design.
  • Strong understanding of visual composition, storytelling, pacing, and design.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, plus CMS experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and the ability to work with both creative and non-creative partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop graphics, presentations, illustrations, infographics, and other visual materials for marketing, communications, social media, email, web, and internal audiences.
  • Create and edit video content for recruiting, events, employee features, social media, and broader brand initiatives.
  • Support video production from planning through editing, motion graphics, captioning, and final delivery.
  • Work with subject matter experts and internal teams to turn complex business topics into clear visual content.
  • Design and adapt materials while ensuring consistency with the firm’s visual identity and brand standards.
  • Use tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, content management systems, and other digital platforms to develop and publish content.
  • Help create and maintain website pages and prepare visual assets for online use.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital content and user engagement through creative design and visual storytelling.
  • Partner with the Marketing team, internal stakeholders, investment banking professionals, and outside agencies to develop and execute creative projects.
  • Provide creative input on marketing campaigns and communications and recommend ways to improve visual content impact.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
  • Anticipate challenges, resolve issues proactively, and keep projects moving forward.
  • Stay current with digital, social media, design, and content trends and bring new ideas to the team.

ProspectBlue has partnered with a reputable company in Richmond, VA and is seeking a creative and highly organized Marketing Specialist to help develop the visual content and digital experiences that represent the firm across internal and external channels.

This position is responsible for turning ideas, information, and business concepts into engaging visual content. The ideal candidate has strong design instincts, experience with digital and video content, and the ability to manage projects from concept through completion.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop graphics, presentations, illustrations, infographics, and other visual materials for marketing, communications, social media, email, web, and internal audiences.

Qualifications:

  • 3–6+ years of experience in content creation, video production, digital storytelling, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of visual composition, storytelling, pacing, and design.
  • Experience creating content for multiple digital and marketing channels.
  • Familiarity with social media content, basic scripting, messaging, and audience-focused content development.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, as well as experience working with a content management system.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both creative and non-creative partners.
  • Creative, curious, and proactive approach to problem-solving and project development.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred experience:

  • Professional or event photography.
  • Experience in financial services, B2B marketing, or an agency environment.
  • Ability to independently film and produce social media content from start to finish.

This is an in-office position based in Richmond, VA. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Limited after-hours email responsiveness may occasionally be required. Portfolio must be presented in order to be considered for this position.
