Job summary

Connico is seeking a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator to join its Business Development/Marketing team. You will develop proposals, coordinate materials, and translate technical content into client-friendly marketing assets while collaborating with senior staff and leadership across pursuits and communications.

The role offers hybrid work across Hebron, KY; Cincinnati, OH; and Mt. Juliet, TN, with fully remote options for the right candidate who resides in the U.S.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional marketing, proposal, or communications experience.
• Ability to translate technical information into clear, persuasive written and visual content.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, with working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, or related Adobe applications.
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and visual communication skills.
• Experience with CRM, project database, or marketing information systems; experience with AEC-specific systems is a plus.
• Ability to locate, organize, evaluate, and validate information from multiple sources.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop proposals, qualifications packages, and other pursuit materials with project experiences and staff qualifications.
• Write, edit, format, and organize client-focused content and coordinate activities with technical staff.
• Support client interview and federal pursuit activities as Connico expands its federal market presence.
• Research upcoming projects, clients, procurement activity, and teaming opportunities; complete prequalification packages and related pursuit requirements.
• Maintain and validate client/project/pursuit data within CRM and project databases.
• Translate technical information into compelling marketing content for project profiles, case studies, and collateral.
• Maintain reusable marketing content and ensure branding consistency.
• Assist with website and social media content, events, and partnerships.
• Manage multiple priorities while growing knowledge of Connico’s projects and markets.

The Role

Connico is seeking a Marketing & Proposal Coordinator with professional proposal-development experience to join our Business Development/Marketing team.

This is a growth-oriented position for someone who already has a strong proposal and communication foundation and is ready to take on increasing responsibility. You will work closely with our Senior Marketing Specialist, technical professionals, and leadership across proposals and pursuits, opportunity research, project information, marketing content, digital communications, and broader business development support.

AEC experience is preferred but not required. The role is designed to grow in scope and independence over time, with a career path to Marketing Specialist and Senior Marketing Specialist.

What You’ll Do

• Develop proposals, qualifications packages, and other pursuit materials, including gathering project experience, staff qualifications, resumes, technical information, approach content, graphics, and reusable proposal resources.
• Write, edit, format, and organize client-focused content and coordinate proposal activities with technical staff and other contributors to support accurate, responsive, and timely submissions.
• Support client interview and presentation preparation and federal pursuit activities as Connico continues to expand its federal market presence.
• Research upcoming projects, clients, procurement activity, and potential teaming opportunities, and complete prequalification packages, vendor registrations, teaming documentation, MBE/SBE information, and related pursuit requirements.
• Maintain, research, and validate client, project, pursuit, and marketing information within CRM, project database, and other information systems, including project closeouts, routine reporting, and identification of data gaps.
• Translate technical project information into compelling marketing content and support project profiles, one-sheets, case studies, presentations, brochures, articles, award submissions, and other collateral.
• Help maintain reusable marketing content, templates, project information, and brand resources while ensuring materials reflect Connico’s established messaging, brand standards, and core values.
• Assist with website and social media content, outside marketing partners, client-facing events, conferences, presentations, and other marketing and brand-building activities.
• Manage multiple concurrent priorities while building deeper knowledge of Connico’s projects, clients, markets, services, systems, and differentiators and taking on greater ownership as your experience grows.

What We’re Looking For

• 2–4 years of professional marketing, proposal, or communications experience, including direct experience developing proposals, qualifications packages, marketing collateral, or similar client-facing pursuit materials.
• Strong ability to translate technical or complex information into clear, persuasive written and visual content.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, with working knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, or related Adobe applications.

• Experience with public-sector procurement, prequalifications, qualifications-based selection processes, or similar pursuit requirements.
• Experience with website content management systems and professional social media platforms.
• Federal marketing, proposal, or procurement experience.

Growth Opportunity

This position is designed for someone who wants to continue developing professionally rather than remain in a narrowly defined proposal-production role. You will initially work closely with the Senior Marketing Specialist while building greater independence and judgment across proposals, pursuits, marketing content, project information, digital communications, and broader marketing operations.
