Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a detail-oriented Copy Editor/Proofreader to support marketing and advertising initiatives. You will collaborate with creative and content leads, writers, and designers to produce high-quality digital, video, and print materials.

The role requires proofreading for grammar, punctuation, and style across channels and coordinating a four-round proofing process. You will onboard new team members and coach others on quality standards, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder

Qualifications

4+ years of copyediting or proofreading experience in marketing or advertising.
Proficient in MS Word and InDesign with strong typography/layout sense.
Ability to proofread for grammar, punctuation, and style across channels.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with creative and content leads to deliver high-quality digital, video, and print advertising.
Proofreads marketing materials to ensure quality of written content.
Identifies and corrects errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style.
Coordinates four-round proofing process (two internal reviews + two stakeholder reviews).
Sends proofs to stakeholders for review and approval.
Facilitates changes and coordinates with teams on complex edits.
Monitors proof statuses and communicates next actions to the creative team.
Onboards new team members and coaches others on quality standards.
