Job summary

Touro College & University System is seeking a Junior Project Manager for Marketing & Communications to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns across campuses. You will coordinate workflows among digital, print, branding, and communications channels and support the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications.

The role requires 3+ years in project management, experience with Basecamp, and strong organizational and communication skills, with exposure to Adobe CC considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of experience in project management, administrative support, marketing operations, or a related field.
• Experience with project management tools and workflow systems such as Basecamp or a similar platform required.
• Experience in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or marketing/communications teams.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar systems (even at a basic level) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project scope, timelines, workflows, and deliverables for marketing initiatives.
• Serve as the central point of coordination among project teams, internal clients, stakeholders, designers, writers, and external vendors.
• Identify bottlenecks and operational challenges, evaluate potential solutions, and recommend improvements to enhance team productivity.
• Track deadlines, deliverables, approvals, and competing priorities, taking appropriate action to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Develop, implement, and maintain project documentation, production schedules, workflows, and related processes to support effective project management.
• Maintain dashboards and status reports and provide leadership with updates regarding project progress, priorities, and potential issues.
• Evaluate departmental project management needs and develop, implement, and maintain appropriate project management systems and workflows, including Basecamp or other applicable platforms.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating internal and external appointments.
• Oversee internal communication between the Executive Director, department staff, faculty partners, and administrative leadership to support departmental priorities and initiatives.
• Assist with budget tracking and departmental purchasing and manage vendor contracts and invoices, coordinating with the Purchasing department and other University departments as needed to facilitate timely payment and resolution of contract-related issues.
• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, presentations, and follow-up documentation.
• Assist in managing brand consistency across digital and print assets.
• Perform general administrative duties, including travel planning, correspondence, filing, record maintenance, and other related duties and special projects as assigned.
