The University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh invites applications for a full-time Marketing Project Manager within the Division of University Relations and Strategic Communications. This position manages the planning, coordination, prioritization, and execution of marketing and communications projects and campaigns that support the university’s strategic goals, brand initiatives, and institutional storytelling efforts. Serving as a central operational partner across the division, the Marketing Project Manager coordinates integrated marketing initiatives from concept through completion, managing timelines, deliverables, approvals, resources, and competing priorities across creative, digital, content, social media, web, video, photography, and leadership teams. The position also serves as the primary administrator and champion for project management and workflow systems, such as Asana, helping improve project visibility, communication, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration. The Marketing Project Manager brings strategic marketing insight to conversations with campus departments and university stakeholders, helping translate institutional priorities and objectives into effective marketing approaches and coordinated project plans. The position partners with stakeholders to understand marketing objectives, communication goals, and project requirements; facilitates project kickoffs and status meetings; and monitors progress to proactively address risks, bottlenecks, and workflow challenges. The position identifies opportunities to streamline marketing processes, establish consistent project management standards, and improve operational efficiency, while maintaining project documentation, campaign calendars, production schedules, and reporting systems. The position also supports university-wide marketing campaigns, institutional initiatives, special events, launches, and high-profile communications projects.

Starting at $47,000 and commensurate with experience
