Job summary

The National Hispanic Cultural Center Foundation in Albuquerque is seeking a Marketing Support student from UNM to assist in marketing, program administration, and community engagement. This off-campus work-study role offers hands-on nonprofit experience in communications and event support.

You will help create content for campaigns, distribute newsletters, manage CRM records, and assist with social media and website updates while contributing to culturally enriching programs and outreach.

Qualifications

• Current UNM student eligible for work study
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Interest in Hispanic arts, culture, and community engagement
• Comfortable with technology (Microsoft Office, social media, CRM tools a plus)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Work schedule: M-F, 15-20 hours between 9am-5pm
• Business or marketing major

Responsibilities

• Support Marketing and Development teams with projects and campaigns
• May include creating content for campaigns
• May include creating marketing calendars for projects
• Assist in creating and distributing newsletters to engage the community
• Help maintain the Foundation website with updated content
• Assist with social media initiatives that highlight our programs and inspire community involvement
• Process membership tasks, including data entry and organization in our CRM (Raiser’s Edge/BlackBaud)
• Ensure accurate and timely updates to member records
• Work with the Foundation team to organize digital files in Teams/OneDrive
• Review, scan, and file documents according to the approved retention plan
• Identify outdated documents and coordinate secure disposal
• Help plan events and set up events
• Help signing in people for events/registering
