Job summary

Southwest Georgia Regional Library System seeks a Librarian to plan, implement, and coordinate library services and programs across three counties. The role includes public relations outreach, website management oversight, and support for collection development and system statistics.

Qualifications

• Master of Library Science from an ALA-accredited program.

• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements and coordinates services/programs in the three counties of the Southwest Georgia Regional Library System.
• Plans and coordinates a comprehensive public relations outreach program and oversees website management.
• Assists with collection development and statistics for the library system and plans public service in Decatur County.
• Ability to exercise mature judgment, maintain confidentiality and work nights/weekends as required.
