Job summary

Novartis Group of Companies in East Hanover, NJ seeks an Associate Director, Marketing Program Governance to establish compliant governance across brands and accelerate digital experiences within the US Integrated Marketing Organization.

You will partner with marketing technology, privacy, regulatory, medical, and operations teams to lead governance projects, apply Agile practices, standardize content workflows, and prepare senior leader briefings. Some travel required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in pharma/biotech digital marketing operations or related launch experience.
• Strong knowledge of FDA/MLR guidelines and approval processes.
• Experience with advertising and creative development across digital channels.
• Proficiency with MLR systems (Veeva Vault PromoMats, Aprimo) and standard office tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with marketing tech, privacy, regulatory, medical and operations teams to launch compliant marketing capabilities.
• Establish consistent channel execution requirements for compliance and efficiency.
• Lead governance projects and provide expertise across channels including email, EHRs, and SMS.
• Use Agile practices to standardize content requirements, workflows, and responsibilities.
• Gather requirements, define technical specs, and test solutions before deployment.
• Strengthen MAP/MIST and channel compliance through cross-brand oversight.
• Align stakeholders on program strategy and communicate risks and benefits to senior leaders.
• Develop reference guides, system docs, and assist audits and inquiries.
• Improve content lifecycles and marketing performance while meeting compliance.
