Job summary

The Hartford is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Marketing Associate to join our marketing production team in Wayne, PA. You will design, produce, and manage marketing materials with a focus on branded data visuals and precise InDesign layouts.

The role requires building charts and graphs, ensuring accessibility, and delivering error-free, print- and web-ready files. Collaboration across teams and adherence to brand guidelines are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of professional design experience (internships or freelance work welcome).
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce white papers, presentations, brochures, forms, event invitations, employee biographies, and related marketing collateral in InDesign, from templates and style sheets.
• Design and implement brand-ready data visualizations using live data in charts, graphs, and infographics across various applications.
• Apply consistent chart standards in line with brand guidelines.
• Ensure all design elements meet ADA color-contrast and accessibility standards.
• Format copy within InDesign and prepare print- and web-ready files.
• Coordinate with print vendors and manage CMS/DAM assets.
• Provide design and production support to team members and assist with rebranding projects.
