Job summary

Cella by Randstad Digital in the Greater Nashville area is seeking a Marketing Production Designer to support enterprise marketing operations. You’ll create, update, and maintain reusable InDesign templates for direct mail, digital, and web channels, using DAM and CMS workflows to ensure scalable, accurate collateral in a regulated environment.

This hands-on production role requires expertise in InDesign, CMS/DAM platforms, and data-driven templates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on production experience developing and maintaining reusable marketing templates in Adobe InDesign.
• Strong proficiency with InDesign (styles, Data Merge, preflight, layers, PDF exports) and CMS/DAM platforms.
• Background in direct mail, print production, or marketing communications in regulated environments (insurance/financial services/healthcare).
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain production-ready InDesign templates using Master Pages, styles, layers, and dynamic content fields.
• Apply client-approved updates such as logos, disclosures, regulatory language, QR codes, and contact details for consistency.
• Upload, tag, and organize collateral within DAM and CMS per governance and metadata standards.
• Conduct quality control and production testing on proofs for variable data, personalization, imagery, branding, and URL/QRs.
• Maintain version control, change docs, and production standards to minimize errors and rework.
• Recommend workflow improvements to increase automation and reduce manual production overhead.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during onboarding and daily production operations.

Cella is seeking a Marketing Production Designer to support enterprise marketing operations for a leading client in the insurance industry. This role focuses on creating, updating, and maintaining reusable marketing templates and client-specific assets across direct mail, digital, and web channels. Positioned within a regulated marketing environment, this hands‑on production role provides an opportunity to utilize integrated marketing technology systems‑including advanced Adobe InDesign production workflows, Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms, and Content Management Systems (CMS)‑to deliver scalable, automated, and high‑accuracy collateral.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and maintain production-ready Adobe InDesign templates using Parent/Master Pages, styles, layers, linked assets, and dynamic content fields.
• Implement approved client creative and copy updates‑such as logos, disclosures, regulatory language, QR codes, and contact details‑ensuring consistency across all affected templates and campaigns.
• Upload, tag, and organize marketing collateral within Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Content Management Systems (CMS) following established governance and metadata standards.
• Conduct thorough quality control and production testing on proofs to validate variable data, personalization, images, branding, and URL/QR functionality prior to distribution.
• Maintain version control, change documentation, work instructions, and production standards to minimize errors and rework.
• Identify and recommend workflow optimizations to increase automation, streamline campaign release cycles, and eliminate manual production overhead.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during onboarding and daily production operations to maintain scalable content management practices.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3+ years of hands‑on production experience developing and maintaining reusable marketing templates in Adobe InDesign.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical proficiency with Adobe InDesign (paragraph/character styles, Data Merge, preflight, layers, PDF exports) and experience using CMS platforms (such as Drupal) or Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms.
• Industry Experience: Background in direct mail, print production, or marketing communications within regulated environments‑specifically insurance, financial services, or healthcare‑is highly preferred.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, quality assurance discipline, and the ability to work independently to meet tight campaign deadlines.
