Job summary

MSD is offering a Future Talent Program internship in Marketing Procurement, part of the Global Supplier Management Group. The 10–12 week program runs June to August and involves projects across Creative, Public Relations, Media, Market Research or Marketing Operations.

You will support supplier management, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and strategic sourcing initiatives while collaborating with Legal, Finance and external partners. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• Currently in sophomore or junior level pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Strong data collection, analysis and reporting skills required.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Experience with SharePoint and MS Office suite preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support procurement objectives including sourcing, risk management, cost reduction and supplier performance improvements.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Procure-to-Pay and external suppliers.
• Conduct market analyses to provide insights and drive decisions.
• Assist with RFIs, RFPs, and e-Auctions and document processes.
• Assist in cost modeling, budgeting and monthly reporting.
