Job summary

O'Brien Atkins Associates, PA is seeking a Marketing Professional for an in-office role in Durham, NC near RTP. You will drive marketing and business development efforts, lead tracking, and prepare proposals with internal teams and consultants.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of related experience, excels in design tools like InDesign and Photoshop, and can coordinate interviews, social media updates, and marketing collateral. This role requires strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or demonstrated equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience. Experience in the A/E/C industry is highly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Graphic design talent and software proficiency.
• Willingness and ability to work after hours and/or weekends, if necessary, to meet deadlines.
• Strong business sense, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team player and independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead tracking.
• Proposal and Statements of Qualifications preparation - including solicitation of information from consultants.
• Experience using InDesign is a must!
• Interviews - manage the prep, strategy session scheduling, coordinate supporting messaging graphics; post interview internal debriefs.
• Social media and website updates
• Organization and updating of all marketing-related files such as photography, proposal hard copies, etc.
• Business research, intel, stay abreast of industry trends, competitor-doings, and communicate same.
• Working with Technical Staff, develop accurate marketing content, project descriptions, resumes, and other necessary collateral.
• Represent the firm as requested and assist with coordinating sponsorships, conferences, and networking opportunities (payment processing, table invitees, coordination of those travel logistics and reminders).
• Working with leadership, identify OB/A Clients for Holiday gifts coordinating purchases and delivery.
• Special projects as assigned.
