Job summary

Lanakila Pacific in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to plan and implement marketing and communications initiatives that promote awareness and support. The role covers events, digital and print materials, social media, fundraising support, and project coordination from concept to completion.

The position advances the organization’s mission and adheres to STAR service standards, with a Monday–Friday schedule and office-based work with some travel to programs and events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of marketing or communications work experience.
• Demonstrated print and digital graphic design skills.
• Experience with photography, video production, editing, and digital content creation.
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Microsoft Office, WordPress, or similar programs.
• Ability to maintain required clearances, including TB clearance, criminal background check, pre-employment drug testing, and CPS/APS checks.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate organizational and partner events.
• Design, write, and produce digital and print marketing materials.
• Create and manage social media content, graphics, videos, and content calendars.
• Coordinate website content updates and digital platform maintenance.
• Research, write, and produce newsletters, annual reports, and other communications.
• Develop and maintain a media and story library that highlights Lanakila Pacific’s impact.
• Support fundraising campaigns and community outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to complete marketing projects and requests.
• Manage project intake, workflows, priorities, and deadlines.
• Prepare reports, correspondence, presentations, and statistical data.
• Represent Lanakila Pacific at community meetings and events.
