Curate Partners is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to act as the center of project management and campaign delivery within an Agile marketing organization. This role focuses on delivering member communications that help people manage their health and navigate the healthcare system through data-driven programs across multiple channels.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of marketing operations experience in a large corporate environment.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns.
  • Ability to work in Agile marketing settings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational backbone of a ~6-person cross-functional marketing team delivering campaigns.
  • Partner with senior marketing leaders, health plans, and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns meet specifications.
  • Lead strategy for a subset of campaigns, analyze overlaps, develop test plans and targeting strategies.
  • Manage trafficking of campaigns through content approvals, feedback, version control, and timely delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional campaign implementation meetings, create timelines, track progress toward launch.
  • Execute Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing for campaigns with marketing tech, data science and data engineering teams.
  • Review and approve highly customized test proofs across formats and channels using materials and checklists.
  • Coordinate with external partners, internal teams, and reviewers on timelines, budgets, and requirements.
  • Manage reporting related to marketing spend and stakeholder requests.
  • Support general project management and help develop key processes and artifacts for efficiency.
  • Synthesize learnings from marketing experiments and test-and-learn initiatives regularly.

Job description

We are seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to serve as the center of project management and campaign delivery within an Agile marketing organization. This role will focus on delivering member communications designed to help people better manage their health and navigate the healthcare system. Using advanced analytics and modern marketing tools, the team develops personalized, data-driven programs that engage members across multiple channels.

The Marketing Operations Manager will collaborate with a cross-functional team of marketers, marketing technology specialists, data scientists, data engineers, and product owners to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational backbone of a ~6-person cross-functional marketing team delivering educational and engagement campaigns.
  • Partner closely with senior marketing leaders, health plans, and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered to exacting specifications.
  • Lead strategy for a subset of campaigns, including analyzing overlaps and gaps with existing campaigns, developing test plans and targeting strategies, identifying opportunities for innovation, defining the member journey, developing creative briefs, and partnering with creative teams on messaging.
  • Manage trafficking of marketing campaigns through content approval processes, including packaging and submitting materials, responding to feedback, managing version control, and resolving conflicting feedback to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional campaign implementation meetings, create timelines, track progress toward launch, and proactively manage blockers.
  • Execute Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing for campaign launches in partnership with marketing technology, data science, and data engineering teams.
  • Review and approve highly customized test and final proofs across multiple formats and channels using campaign materials, checklists, briefs, approval forms, and other tools.
  • Coordinate between external partners, internal teams, and reviewers on timelines, budgets, and requirements while managing vendor interactions as needed.
  • Manage reporting related to marketing spend, stakeholder requests, and other business needs.
  • Support general project management and help develop key processes and artifacts to ensure the team operates efficiently.
  • Synthesize learnings from marketing experiments and test-and-learn initiatives on a regular basis.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations within a large corporate environment, ideally working with a combination of email, direct mail, SMS, IVR/phone, paid media, web, or other marketing channels.
  • Experience in related project management or campaign operations roles may also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with healthcare or regulated marketing environments.
  • Experience with compliance or regulatory review processes.
  • Experience or familiarity with Workfront or similar workflow management tools.
  • Professional experience with PowerPoint, including building deliverables and communication materials.
  • Experience with Excel, including basic data manipulation, pivot tables, and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, flexibility, ability to learn quickly, and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology and/or rapid test-and-learn environment, either within marketing campaigns or product development.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Interest in improving the healthcare experience and helping people better navigate the healthcare system is highly valued.
