Job summary

  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, communications, project management, or creative operations.
  • Working knowledge of design software, web development, and content management systems.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, freelancers, and external partners.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage complex workflows.
  • Experience using project management, editorial calendar, and collaboration platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain brand standards and conduct quality assurance reviews across digital and print communications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common marketing and communications software platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage marketing and communications projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and priorities remain aligned across stakeholders.
  • Maintain project dashboards and regularly communicate project status, workload, and key milestones to leadership.
  • Oversee the marketing and communication project timelines, workflows, and editorial calendars using project management platforms (e.g., Loop, Agorapulse).
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among communications staff, faculty, vendors, freelancers, and campus partners to ensure timely project completion.
  • Manage the scheduling, publishing, and performance tracking of social media content.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital and print channels to support the School's strategic priorities. Provide graphic design support for digital and print communications as needed.
  • Edit and review short- and long-form content to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Support video editing and multimedia production to enhance marketing and storytelling efforts.
  • Maintain and organize digital asset libraries, brand resources, photography, video archives, and creative templates.
  • Oversee the production of magazines, newsletters, websites, annual reports, and other marketing and communications materials.
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend opportunities to improve engagement and effectiveness.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure communications are accurate, on brand, accessible, and free of errors prior to publication.

Purpose

This position manages project workflows, production timelines, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure marketing projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with the School's strategic priorities and brand standards. Salary Range

$82,000+ depending on qualifications

Employment Eligibility:

Retirement Plan Eligibility:

The retirement plan for this position is Teacher Retirement System of Texas (TRS), subject to the position being at least 20 hours per week and at least 135 days in length.
