Job summary

NJM Insurance Group in Trenton, NJ is seeking a self-motivated Marketing Operations Summer Intern to learn how marketing teams manage projects, processes, and technology. The role works with Marketing, IT, and vendors to support operations and improve workflows.

You'll assist with project intake, scheduling, and reporting, gain exposure to Workfront and SharePoint, and participate in team meetings and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Current Sophomore or Junior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Project Management or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
• Interest in project management, marketing operations, and business processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project intake, scheduling, and workflow management within Workfront.
• Support the coordination and tracking of marketing projects from initiation through completion.
• Help document and improve marketing processes and operational workflows.
• Collaborate with Marketing, IT, and other business partners to support marketing initiatives.
• Generate and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and operational documentation.
• Assist with project prioritization activities.
• Participate in team meetings and support project communications among stakeholders.
• Provide recommendations on process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Support implementation and adoption of marketing technology tools and best practices.
