Job summary

Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, IN seeks a Director of Marketing Operations and Project Management to lead the department's project portfolio across the Marketing-IWU Marketing team. You will scope, prioritize, and drive projects from intake to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high quality, while guiding brand stewardship and operational standards.

Qualifications

Seven or more (7+) years of progressively responsible experience leading marketing operations, project management, or agency account management
Three or more (3+) years supervising employees
Demonstrated success managing a high-volume marketing project portfolio
Experience implementing or administering project management platforms such as Wrike, Asana, Monday.com, Jira, Workfront, or similar

Responsibilities

Lead the university's marketing project management function and ensure consistent execution of all marketing initiatives
Oversee intake, scoping, prioritization, scheduling, trafficking, and completion of every marketing project
Ensure projects are entered with complete, accurate information before work begins and tracked through completion
Establish timelines, milestones, dependencies, and resource assignments
Monitor workload and capacity across creative, communications, web, digital marketing, and video teams
