Astronomer is seeking a Marketing Operations Coordinator to operationalize campaigns in Marketo and Salesforce. You’ll own end-to-end programs, optimize data quality, and drive process improvements on a small, fast-moving team.

Location: remote with light travel 3–4 times per year; Central/Eastern Time Zone candidates preferred. This role offers growth into deep automation and hands-on systems ownership.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in marketing operations or similar B2B marketing roles.
• Hands-on experience building and managing campaigns in Marketo.
• Working familiarity with Salesforce and data flows between MAP and CRM.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns.

Responsabilités

• Build and launch marketing programs in Marketo end to end including emails, landing pages, forms, and nurture streams.
• Manage event and webinar operations, including Marketo 3rd party integrations and syncs.
• Keep data clean by maintaining quality across Marketo and Salesforce and troubleshoot sync issues.
• Support lead lifecycle and routing operations and refine alerting for ownership.
• Run campaign intake and delivery in Jira, track progress, and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Build and maintain reporting on campaign performance and surface optimization insights.
• Maintain reusable templates and documented processes to speed up the team.

We're at a key inflection point in our growth, and our marketing engine is scaling fast. We're looking for a Marketing Operations Coordinator to be the hands-on builder behind our campaigns. This is the person who turns marketing ideas into flawlessly executed programs in Marketo and Salesforce. This is a high-impacts role for someone early in their marketing ops career who wants to own real systems, ship constantly, and grow into a deep automation expert on a small, fast-moving team.

Location: This is a remote based position with light travel required 3-4 times per year. Candidates based in the Central or Eastern Time Zones are preferred.

As a Marketing Operations Coordinator, you'll get to:

• Build and launch marketing programs in Marketo end to end. This includes building emails, landing pages, forms, smart lists, nurture streams, and batch and trigger campaigns.
• Manage our event and webinar operations, including Marketo 3rd Party integrations, registration and attendance sync, confirmation flows, and webhook-driven program steps
• Keep our data clean: monitor and maintain data quality and hygiene across Marketo and Salesforce, and troubleshoot sync issues between the two
• Support lead lifecycle and routing operations and help refine alerting so the right owner is notified at the right time.
• Run our campaign intake and delivery process through Jira: take in requests, keep trackers and launch checklists current, and communicate status back to stakeholders
• Build and maintain reporting on campaign performance and surface insights and optimization recommendations
• Maintain reusable templates and documented processes that make the whole team faster and more accurate

What we're looking for:

• 1–2 years of experience in marketing operations, campaign operations, or a similar B2B marketing role
• Hands-on experience building and managing campaigns in a marketing automation platform (Marketo strongly preferred)
• Working familiarity with Salesforce. Comfortable building campaigns, reporting, and an understanding of how leads and data flow between MAP and CRM
• Exceptional attention to detail and a genuine enjoyment of getting the mechanics right
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• A data-driven, process-oriented mindset. You like measuring what you ship and improving it
• Clear, proactive communicator who can partner across demand gen, events, content, and sales
• Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action; you're excited to learn quickly and take ownership

Bonus points for:

• Experience as a Marketo Administrator in a prior role
• Experience building reports and working with marketing data
• Comfortability using AI tools to automate manual tasks and move faster
• Experience marketing to technical audiences (developer tools, data, or infrastructure)

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this role is $75,000–$95,000, plus equity and benefits. Final offer will depend on experience, skills, and location.
