Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, this position leads day-to-day communications and marketing operations, supervises a team of three creative and communications staff, manages vendors and projects, and ensures the production and distribution of high-quality, accessible digital, print, and multi-media content that reflects HealthierHere’s values and commitment to health equity.During a critical growth period, the Marketing Operations & Communications Manager will build and deliver integrated marketing activities that ensure clear and consistent messaging and communications across all channels and that support the goals and sustainability of HealthierHere’s core programs, including Connect2 Technology and the HealthierHere Community Hub, as well as emerging programs and services that expand HealthierHere’s reach and long-term impact.The ideal candidate is a systems-minded marketing leader and skilled project manager who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. With proven experience leading complex communications and marketing campaigns, managing budgets and vendors, and using data to guide decisions, along with a deep commitment to equity and community health, the Marketing Operations & Communications Manager will elevate HealthierHere’s voice, engage audiences, and drive organizational impact.Key ResponsibilitiesTeam, Project & Vendor ManagementLead day-to-day communications operations and project management to ensure timely, high-quality, and on-budget execution of core activitiesSupervise, coach, and support the professional growth of the Graphic Designer, Multimedia Storyteller, and Communications Specialist, including setting priorities, balancing workloads, and conducting regular check-ins and performance reviewsManage relationships, scopes of work, and contracts with vendors and consultants, including graphic designers, photographers, videographers, content creators, web design agencies, translators, and moreDevelop and manage project and campaign budgets, track expenses against approved budgets, and coordinate with Finance on contracts, purchase approvals, and invoicingBuild, implement, and maintain standardized content creation processes and project tracking systems (e.g., intake forms, timelines, task boards, and status reports) to ensure consistency, accountability, and efficiency across all communications activitiesStrategic Communications and MarketingCo-develop and implement integrated communications and marketing strategies, driving timelines, tactics, and cross-functional coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget deliveryMonitor, analyze, and regularly report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using HubSpot, web analytics, and social media analytics to optimize strategies and inform quality improvement and future initiativesManage HubSpot marketing operations, including email campaigns, landing pages, forms, workflows, lists, and campaign reporting dashboardsIdentify, test, and implement AI tools and emerging technologies that improve content production, workflows, and reporting.Implement thought leadership and speaking engagement strategy (applications, coordination, and content development)Editorial Planning and Content ProductionDevelop and manage the organizational editorial calendar, tracking all campaigns, events, and deliverables that require design, copywriting, and photo or video supportManage intake, prioritization, and assignment of creative requests across the Graphic Designer, Multimedia Storyteller, and Communications Specialist to ensure deliverables are on time, on brand, and on budgetOversee video and photography production management, from planning, scheduling, and shot lists through on-site coordination, review, and final delivery, in partnership with internal staff and external videographers and photographersCoordinate content publishing and distribution across channels (website, email, social media, and HubSpot) in support of content marketing goalsReview and edit content for quality, accuracy, accessibility, and brand consistency before publicationCommunications SupportSupport internal communications initiatives, ensuring consistent information flow across teamsSupport development of communications materials, messaging, and collateral for use by staffProvide communications support for virtual and in-person events (i.e. webinars and convenings)Support partner communications capacity building and co-creation effortsBachelor’s degree or equivalent education and 4+ years of progressive experience developing and executing communications and marketing plans;
