The Marketing & Digital Engagement Manager leads Key to Change's day-to-day marketing, digital advertising, social media, website, SEO, visual brand, and multimedia content efforts.
This is not simply a social media position, nor is it an entry-level or early-career role. We are looking for an experienced, hands-on marketing professional who understands how to capture attention, tell compelling stories, understand audience behavior, build trust, and move people from awareness to action.
The ideal candidate is both creative and analytical. They can develop a campaign concept, manage digital advertising, collaborate with a content creator on video, create strong visual materials, improve a webpage for search and conversion, and use data to determine what should happen next.
This person will work closely with Key to Change's Communications & Development Manager, program staff, leadership, and creative partners to attract prospective students and families, engage donors and supporters, and strengthen our visibility throughout the community.
Within the first year, this person will have increased qualified prospective student and family inquiries, improved website conversion and organic search visibility, established measurable benchmarks for digital marketing, strengthened our content pipeline and visual identity, and demonstrated which marketing investments are producing meaningful results.
Success in this role is not measured simply by impressions, likes, or followers. We are looking for someone who understands how marketing contributes to enrollment, fundraising, audience growth, and organizational impact.
Experience with nonprofit organizations, education, arts and culture, youth development, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, WordPress, Mailchimp, Salesforce, photography, video, and conversion testing is a plus.
You don't have to come from the nonprofit world. You might come from digital marketing, e-commerce, advertising, consumer brands, education, media, entertainment, public relations, or an agency. What matters is that you have substantial professional experience, are curious about audiences, excited by great ideas, visually creative, comfortable with data, and motivated by results.
You should have an appreciation for young people, education, the arts, and the role classical music can play in opening doors and expanding possibilities. You know how to communicate with students and families in ways that feel relevant, contemporary, and authentic without talking down to them or oversimplifying the message. You can also tell those stories in ways that resonate with donors, partners, and the broader community.
We will teach you Key to Change: our mission, students, programs, communities, voice, and aspirations. We are looking for someone who will bring the marketing expertise, professional judgment, creative confidence, and experience necessary to help us reach the next level.
This is a full-time, primarily on-site position based in Renton.
