Job summary

Butler University in Indianapolis seeks a part-time LAS Dean's Office Assistant and Marketing Intern to support social media, marketing, and market research on-site. You will report to the Dean's Assistants and help with outreach, events, and video/photo capture for social media.

The ideal candidate is an LAS undergraduate with strong communication skills and familiarity with platforms such as Adobe Express and major social networks. MS Office proficiency is preferred and independence is valued.

Qualifications

• LAS undergraduate student at Butler University.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous social media content creation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Compose summary reports.
• Make inquiries via phone and email.
• Survey and collect information from staff and faculty.
• Greet visitors to the Dean's Suite.
• Exhibit initiative to work independently and collaboratively.
• Attend recruiting and community building events.
• Capture and edit videos and photos from events for social media and other marketing.
• Other duties as needed.
