Butler University in Indianapolis seeks a part-time LAS Dean's Office Assistant and Marketing Intern to support social media, marketing, and market research on-site. You will report to the Dean's Assistants and help with outreach, events, and video/photo capture for social media.
The ideal candidate is an LAS undergraduate with strong communication skills and familiarity with platforms such as Adobe Express and major social networks. MS Office proficiency is preferred and independence is valued.

The LAS Dean's Office is seeking a student who is articulate, creative, outgoing, organized, motivated, and interested in joining our team to help with social media, marketing, and market research. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, comfortable doing online research and outreach, and eager to improve the face of LAS. This student will report to the Dean's Assistants.
Special Projects:
Compose summary reports
Make inquiries via phone and email
Survey and collect information from staff and faculty
Greet visitors to the Dean's Suite
Exhibit initiative to work independently and collaboratively
Attend recruiting and community building events
Capture and edit videos and photos from events for social media and other marketing
Other duties as needed
Student must be an LAS undergraduate student of Butler University.
Applicants must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous social media content creation experience is preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office core products.
Ability to use creative and social media platforms (Adobe Express, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, X).
Graphic design and videography experience a plus.
Be able to work independently
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
Comply with University standards and policies.
