Marketing Manager, Random House (Open to Remote)

Responsibilities

Title Marketing at Random House seeks an experienced and dynamic Marketing Manager to lead title-specific marketing campaigns for both frontlist and backlist, focusing on trade paperback priorities for Random House, Hogarth, Modern Library, The Dial Press, and One World. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, this role collaborates closely with the Marketing, Editorial, and Publicity teams. Random House, a division of Penguin Random House, is home to bestselling authors and diverse titles designed to inspire, entertain, and educate.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns for individual titles and series.
  • Partnering with the design team to create compelling digital and social media assets.
  • Conducting post-campaign analysis to share insights and improve future strategies.
  • Communicating marketing plans effectively across departments to ensure alignment.
  • Staying informed on industry trends to inform campaign strategies.
Experience & Skills

Applicants should have:

  • Minimum of 5 years in book marketing, especially in trade paperbacks.
  • Strong creative, strategic, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
