The Marketing Manager will manage the delivery of high-impact marketing programs for Visa clients, with a primary focus on merchant and co-brand partners. Programs may include payments marketing strategy, research and insights, lifecycle and loyalty marketing, creative and content development, influencer and paid media campaigns, direct mail, card launch and rebranding initiatives, custom experiential activations, sweepstakes, and sponsorship marketing across properties such as the Olympics, U.S. Soccer, FIFA, gaming, music, and fashion.

This role requires a proactive, client-facing marketing professional who can navigate a highly matrixed environment, translate business objectives into clear marketing plans, and drive execution with precision. The ideal candidate combines broad marketing experience, strong project management discipline, executive presence, and sound judgment to deliver programs on time, within budget, and aligned to client and Visa business objectives.

This role reports to the Director, Marketing Services Delivery.

  • Partner with Marketing Business Development to transition pitched opportunities into well-managed engagements with clear scope, timelines, deliverables, and success measures.
  • Lead client discussions, provide strategic recommendations, and present marketing plans, campaign results, and optimization opportunities with confidence and clarity.
  • Anticipate client needs, identify growth opportunities, and resolve challenges to drive successful outcomes.
  • Establish credibility with senior client stakeholders while managing complex expectations, competing priorities, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Own the development and execution of marketing projects across acquisition, engagement, loyalty, and retention objectives.
  • Translate complex inputs into actionable marketing strategies, creative briefs, activation plans, and execution roadmaps.
  • Manage a broad portfolio of concurrent marketing engagements while maintaining strong attention to detail, quality, and accountability.
  • Apply marketing best practices, consumer insights, and performance data to optimize programs and improve results.
  • Coordinate across Business Development, Creative, Media, Analytics, Legal, Finance, Product, agency, and vendor teams to drive alignment, remove barriers, and deliver client commitments.
  • Lead project kickoffs, status meetings, executive reviews, and post-campaign analyses; manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables from initiation through completion.
  • Identify risks early, develop mitigation plans, and communicate proactively with clients and internal stakeholders.
