The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the execution of integrated marketing initiatives in support of Standlee’s annual marketing strategy and promotional plan. This role translates established marketing priorities into actionable campaigns, projects, and programs and drives them from kickoff through completion. Serving as a central project lead across Creative, Digital, Sales, Innovation, Brand Partnerships, and external partners, the Marketing Manager ensures content, creative assets, retailer programs, and channel deliverables are aligned, completed on time, and carried through to execution. This role manages and supports assigned marketing team members and leads retail marketing support and retailer education initiatives, including ExpertVoice, to strengthen product awareness, retailer engagement, and sell-through. This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and expectations for performance. It cannot encompass all specific job tasks that an employee may be required to perform. Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and perform job-related duties as may be required by his/her supervisor.

Key Performance Areas (Essential Functions)
Integrated Marketing & Project Management
  • Lead execution of integrated campaigns and initiatives within the annual marketing and promotional plan
  • Translate marketing priorities into campaign briefs, timelines, deliverables, and channel requirements
  • Manage campaigns from kickoff through completion, coordinating workflows across Creative, Digital, Sales, Innovation, Brand Partnerships, and external partners
  • Manage timelines, approvals, dependencies, and deliverables to ensure campaigns remain on schedule
  • Maintain visibility to project status, roadblocks, and priorities, escalating risks or resource needs as appropriate
  • Ensure campaign content and creative are delivered to appropriate channel owners for execution
Retail Marketing & Sales Support
  • Serve as a key Marketing partner to Sales for retailer marketing needs and opportunities
  • Lead execution of retailer marketing programs, promotions, and activations aligned with the annual promotional plan
  • Coordinate merchandising, point-of-sale materials, digital assets, sales tools, and supporting communications
  • Support key retail accounts and product launches while ensuring alignment with broader brand and consumer marketing priorities
  • Partner with Sales to identify opportunities to increase product awareness, retailer engagement, and sell-through
  • Attend select trade shows, sales events, and industry events alongside the Sales team to support retailer engagement and Standlee marketing initiatives
Retailer Training & Education
  • Own retailer training and education initiatives, including ExpertVoice
  • Manage ExpertVoice content, training launches, updates, participation initiatives, and ongoing program execution
  • Coordinate educational content development with internal subject-matter experts
  • Partner with Sales to drive retailer participation and strengthen product knowledge and advocacy
  • Track training engagement, completion, and program performance
Content Channel & Performance Coordination
  • Manage the integrated content and promotional calendar in alignment with annual marketing priorities
  • Coordinate development, review, approval, and delivery of blog, email, educational, promotional, and campaign content
  • Assist with website copy updates and other digital content needs as assigned
  • Partner with Creative on asset development and with the Digital Marketing Manager on digital publishing and deployment
  • Ensure campaign timing, messaging, and deliverables remain aligned across channels
  • Coordinate performance reporting and campaign recaps to identify results, learnings, and opportunities for future initiatives
Team Leadership
  • Manage assigned marketing team members, providing day-to-day direction, prioritization, and support
  • Help establish team priorities and balance workloads to ensure key marketing initiatives and deliverables remain on track
  • Support employee development, accountability, and effective collaboration across the marketing team
Experiences / Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years in CPG, agriculture, pet, animal wellness, retail, or integrated marketing
  • Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables
  • Experience supporting retail marketing, promotional programs, product launches, or sales enablement
  • Strong cross-functional communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to translate marketing strategy and priorities into actionable plans and coordinated execution
Working Conditions
General Office Environment

Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, etc. Work is generally performed in an office environment, with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. Typical repetitive office work - PC, telephone, and live meetings.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Able to lift 50 pounds without issue. While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, read, write, and communicate in fluent English. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional demands to respond to legal matters in the evening and during the weekend.
