Job description

About the Company:

Inspired by the Mediterranean, Moroccanoil comes to life through our iconic turquoise packaging and signature fragrance, for an exotic experience that transports the senses. Our original Moroccanoil Treatment pioneered oil-infused haircare and sparked global interest in argan oil. At the heart of our brand is the stylist community that inspires us to create effective and easy-to-use products. Today, our mission remains unchanged: to pioneer beauty innovations while making a positive impact. We support animal welfare as a cruelty-free brand with our PETA Beauty without Bunnies certification and partnership with the Humane Society. Ocean conservation and sustainability are central to us, including our collaboration with Oceana. As our journey continues, we strive to make a meaningful difference in our communities and around the world.

Overview:

Moroccanoil is seeking a strategic, creative, and a strong executional Marketing Manager to lead the go-to-market (GTM) development for our professional haircolor portfolio. This role is responsible for creating compelling 360° campaign concepts that drive business growth, inspire the stylist community, and differentiate the brand in a highly competitive landscape.

As the architect of GTM strategy, this individual will bring product and brand narratives to life through stylist-first marketing plans that are innovative, cohesive, and grounded in real-world insights. While this is a global role, the primary focus is on driving executional excellence in North America, in close collaboration with cross-functional teams and international counterparts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 360° GTM campaign concepts that support new launches, seasonal storytelling, and reanimation of core franchises across the professional haircolor portfolio.
  • Own end-to-end GTM planning and execution for North America, working collaboratively with Sales, Education, Digital, Social, Creative, and Operations to bring campaigns to life across all channels.
  • Lead development of stylist-focused marketing toolkits, including sell-in decks, salon support tools, service menu ideas, merchandising, training materials, and campaign visuals.
  • Ensure campaigns are scalable and executable, with clear messaging, timelines, and toolkits that empower internal and field teams.
  • Collaborate with distributor partners and adapt campaigns to fit channel needs (e.g., full-service, stores, e-commerce), ensuring consistency and relevance at every touchpoint.
  • Work closely with Creative and Production teams to guide visual direction and manage vendor deliverables, ensuring all content is on brand and stylist-relevant.
  • Partner with Education to align technical storytelling, service positioning, and activation timing.
  • Engage directly with the stylist community, incorporating hairdresser insights into campaign development and marketing tools to ensure salon relevance and impact.
  • Monitor competitive activity and stay ahead of professional trends to inform positioning, innovation opportunities, and market differentiation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably within professional beauty or a related category (e.g., cosmetics, wellness, fashion, prestige retail).
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing integrated GTM campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept to execution with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience collaborating with Creative, Education, Sales, and Digital functions.
  • Exposure to vendor/agency management and production workflows.
  • Passion for the beauty industry; understanding of the salon channel and/or stylist mindset is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com) a plus.

Who You Are:

  • A campaign builder with strong storytelling instincts and an understanding of what motivates professionals in the beauty space.
  • A cross-functional leader who can turn creative vision into actionable plans.
  • A strategic thinker who sees both the big picture and the fine details.
  • A collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-performance environment and builds trust across teams.
