Job description

HopDrive is building the enterprise-ready mobility platform for the automotive industry. What started as a driver-behind-the-wheel solution for dealership pickup & delivery has evolved into a configurable SaaS platform that orchestrates short-haul vehicle movement and other common tasks within automotive while giving users the ability to track employee productivity—service concierge, remote test drives, shuttle services, consumer-paid moves, and more.

We are a growing startup that believes ambitious goals and a healthy work-life balance can go hand in hand. We are looking for collaborative team players who bring a growth mindset, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for helping build something meaningful.

HopDrive is deeply committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace that represents and welcomes people from all backgrounds. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to dream big—and we invite you to dream big with us.

About the Role:

HopDrive is seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager to build and execute marketing programs that support our growth team, strengthen our brand, and generate new business opportunities.

This is a broad, highly visible role for someone who enjoys turning ideas into finished campaigns and sales tools. The Marketing Manager will create sales collateral, manage trade shows and events, develop email campaigns, maintain website content, and coordinate marketing projects from concept through execution.

The ideal candidate combines strong writing and project-management skills with a practical understanding of design, digital marketing, and sales enablement. This person should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and collaborating closely with sales, leadership, vendors, and subject-matter experts.

Key Responsibilities

Sales enablement and content

  • Create and maintain sales materials, including presentations, brochures, case studies, product sheets, proposals, one-pagers, and customer success stories.
  • Partner with the sales team to understand common customer questions, objections, and opportunities, then translate those insights into effective sales assets.
  • Maintain an organized library of current, brand-compliant marketing and sales materials.
  • Develop messaging that clearly communicates the company’s value proposition, capabilities, and competitive advantages.
  • Support product launches, new service offerings, and other sales initiatives with appropriate content and campaigns.

Trade shows and events

  • Plan and manage trade shows, conferences, customer events, and other industry programs.
  • Coordinate registration, booth design, signage, promotional materials, shipping, travel logistics, vendor relationships, and event schedules.
  • Develop pre-event and post-event marketing campaigns to drive attendance, booth traffic, and sales follow-up.
  • Establish processes for capturing, organizing, and distributing event leads.
  • Track event costs, lead volume, opportunities generated, and overall return on investment.

Email marketing and campaigns

  • Plan, write, build, test, and launch email campaigns for prospects, customers, partners, and event attendees.
  • Develop campaign calendars, audience segments, calls to action, landing pages, and follow-up sequences.
  • Coordinate lead-nurturing campaigns with the sales team.
  • Monitor campaign performance, including delivery, open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and generated opportunities.
  • Test messaging, subject lines, formats, and offers to improve performance over time.

Website and digital marketing

  • Write, edit, and publish website copy that is clear, accurate, persuasive, and aligned with the company’s brand.
  • Manage routine website updates, including pages, images, forms, resources, and calls to action.
  • Create or coordinate basic website layouts and visual assets using the company’s content management and design tools.
  • Work with external developers or agencies when more advanced technical support is required.
  • Apply basic search engine optimization practices to improve website visibility and user experience.
  • Monitor website traffic, conversions, form submissions, and other key performance indicators.

Brand and design

  • Maintain consistency across the company’s messaging, visual identity, and customer-facing materials.
  • Create or coordinate graphics for presentations, emails, social media, digital campaigns, signage, and printed collateral.
  • Manage relationships with printers, designers, photographers, web developers, and other outside vendors.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials are accurate, professional, and delivered on schedule.

Marketing operations and reporting

  • Develop and maintain a practical marketing calendar aligned with sales goals and company priorities.
  • Manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and vendors simultaneously.
  • Track the marketing budget and make recommendations regarding campaign and event spending.
  • Measure campaign performance and provide regular reporting to leadership.
  • Improve marketing processes, templates, systems, and documentation as the function grows.
  • Maintain accurate marketing contact lists and support CRM data quality and campaign tracking.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a broad marketing, content, communications, demand-generation, or sales-enablement role.
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and messaging skills.
  • Demonstrated experience creating professional sales and marketing materials.
  • Experience planning trade shows, conferences, or business events.
  • Experience developing and executing email marketing campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Figma, or similar software.
  • Strong project-management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and complete projects with limited supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with sales, leadership, customers, and external vendors.
  • Experience in the Automotive industry strongly preferred.
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
