Position Profile

Weaver seeks a Marketing Manager to lead and develop a variety of marketing activities to help the firm increase our revenues, brand recognition and market share. This leader will work with firm executives and partner leaders to develop comprehensive annual marketing plans — which may include events, campaigns, sponsorships, collateral/website content, thought leadership content, target list development, etc. — and then lead the successful execution of those plans. This team member will also lead various projects that support department and firm goals, such as content strategy, CRM strategy, lead generation/nurture strategy, digital marketing strategy, campaign development and execution, data analysis and more.

A friendly, positive, proactive driver, this marketing plan manager brings energy and enthusiasm to the marketing team’s important work, along with the ability to develop genuine, cooperative relationships across the firm. This person is a well‑organized strategist and adept project manager able to juggle many assignments at once, meet deadlines and keep others informed of progress and/or roadblocks, should they arise. Finally, this team member is a proactive problem solver, able to identify and implement solutions to a wide variety of issues to meet the marketing team’s and the firm’s goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the strategic development and execution of marketing budgets and plans in coordination with industry and practice group stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary marketing point of contact for designated internal stakeholders and marketing plans.
  • Understand needs and objectives of plan stakeholders and provide recommendations to drive their business growth.
  • Collaborate with plan stakeholders and marketing team resources to develop and execute a wide array of marketing tactics including campaigns, events, sponsorships, thought leadership content development and promotion, marketing collateral development, website content creation and more.
  • Regularly seeks out ways to add value to stakeholder relationships by providing ideas and insights on how to achieve the desired business results.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and make data‑driven recommendations.
  • Proactively address any issues or concerns to ensure a high level of internal client satisfaction related to marketing projects.
  • Ensure appropriate timeline for development, production and delivery of marketing plan activities as well as new requests.

To be successful in this role, the following qualifications are required:

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or related business discipline.
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant B2B marketing, communications, and/or digital marketing experience.
  • Proven accomplishments in planning, executing and reporting project metrics.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Able to take strategic control of plans/accounts.
Skills
  • Ability to balance several assignments at once, while prioritizing and meeting deadlines; you know how to balance research, development, execution, and reporting.
  • Ability to articulate and present technical content in a user‑friendly format; you enjoy connecting the dots and translating complex topics into visual communications.
  • Excellent relationship skills; you have the ability to collaborate with teams and develop relationships at all levels in the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), social platforms (LinkedIn preferred) as well as marketing automation platforms (HubSpot) and analytics platforms; experience in Microsoft Teams, Monday.com and related project management tools preferred.
  • Ability to operate without direction in areas of uncertainty and ambiguity; you own projects and navigate relationships to make goals reality.
  • Ability to work and interact effectively with executive leadership, partner and director stakeholders; you enjoy engaging with others and making project plans come to life.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; you exude enthusiasm and inspire trust.
  • Ability to use excellent judgment, handle confidential materials and display a professional demeanor; you are authentic and act with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in marketing accounting and/or other professional service experience.
  • Experience working in a marketing agency in client services in roles as an account executive / account manager.
  • Self‑reliant with strong overall business acumen.
  • Self‑motivated with a high energy level.

Annual Base Pay Range for New York: $110,000 - $135,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
