See Monterey is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead end-to-end integrated campaigns, coordinating Marketing Communications, PR, and Community Relations efforts. The role emphasizes turning strategy into action through briefs, timelines, content production, and performance reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in marketing, communications, advertising, public relations or integrated campaign management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing marketing or communications projects from concept through completion.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns, timelines and stakeholders.
  • Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Understanding of integrated marketing across paid, earned, owned and social channels.
  • Experience with project management, content management, CRM or digital asset management platforms preferred.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Power Point.
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop reports, presentations, and campaign recaps that communicate outcomes, performance metrics, and strategic value to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support marketing operations by maintaining campaign processes, improving workflows, managing project visibility, and contributing to departmental initiatives and special projects.

Position Summary

The Marketing Manager is a highly organized, creative marketing professional responsible for managing integrated campaigns from concept through execution, and reporting.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this position serves as a shared campaign management resource across See Monterey's Marketing & Communications department, supporting initiatives spanning Marketing, Public Relations and Community Relations. TheMarketingManager helps turn strategy into action by developing campaign briefs, managing timelines and deliverables, managing content and creative production, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, monitoring campaign performance, and preparing campaign reports.

This role is designed for a marketing professional who enjoys owning campaigns from beginning to end and bringing structure, momentum and creative thinking to complex initiatives involving multiple internal teams, agency partners, vendors and destination stakeholders.

The MarketingManager will manage a diverse portfolio of destination marketing and community-facing initiatives, including responsible travel campaigns, jurisdictional identity campaigns, partner campaigns and other strategic priorities.

The ideal candidate combines exceptional project management skills with strong marketing instincts and hands-on content capabilities. They are equally comfortable building a campaign brief and timeline, writing or reviewing campaign copy managing creative and content production, and analyzing campaign performance.

Requirements
In this role, responsibilities include:

  • Competitive salary range of $90,000 - $105,000 depending on experience
