Job summary

• Ability to understand budgets, performance reports and marketing metrics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact with marketing agencies and vendors.
• Set priorities, budgets, deadlines, and performance expectations.
• Review results from paid search, Local Services Ads, SEO, website activity, social media, email marketing, and other channels.
• Hold agencies accountable for lead quality, reporting accuracy, responsiveness, and campaign performance.
• Reconcile marketing reports with Service Titan whenever possible.
• Recommend spend changes based on lead quality, booking performance, and revenue.
• Coordinate branding across website, vehicles, uniforms, facilities, advertising, social, print, and customer communications.
• Develop and maintain the annual marketing plan, promotional calendar, and budget.
• Align HVAC, plumbing, and electrical campaigns with seasonality, revenue goals, and technician capacity.
• Track qualified leads, cost per lead, booked calls, booking rates, CAC, and marketing-generated revenue.
• Prepare weekly scorecards and monthly performance reports.
• Manage local marketing, community partnerships, reviews, referrals, memberships, and repeat-business programs.
• Coordinate marketing volume with call-center and technician capacity.
• Communicate current campaigns and offers to customer service, technicians, and sales.

This person is the company’s internal owner for marketing: set priorities, manage agencies and vendors, lead branding work, run the marketing calendar and budget, and drive qualified calls, booked jobs, and revenue. The role sets direction, coordinates execution, tracks performance, and holds agencies and vendors accountable for results.

What you will do

• Serve as Bert Black’s primary contact with marketing agencies and vendors
• Set clear priorities, budgets, deadlines, and performance expectations
• Review results from paid search, Local Services Ads, SEO, website activity, social media, email, and other channels
• Hold agencies accountable for lead quality, reporting accuracy, responsiveness, and campaign performance
• Reconcile marketing reports with Service Titan whenever possible
• Recommend spend changes based on lead quality, booking performance, and revenue
• Protect company access to and control of the website, domains, advertising accounts, analytics, creative, and customer data
• Coordinate the branding initiative across website, vehicles, uniforms, facilities, advertising, social, print, and customer communications
• Develop and maintain the annual marketing plan, promotional calendar, and budget
• Align HVAC, plumbing, and electrical campaigns with seasonality, revenue goals, and technician capacity
• Track qualified leads, cost per lead, booked calls, booking rates, customer acquisition cost, and marketing-generated revenue
• Prepare a weekly marketing scorecard and monthly performance report
• Manage local marketing, community partnerships, reviews, referrals, memberships, and repeat-business programs

• At least three to five years of relevant marketing experience.
• Experience managing outside marketing agencies or vendors.
• Working knowledge of paid search, SEO, Local Services Ads, social media, email marketing, websites and traditional advertising.
• Ability to understand budgets, performance reports and marketing metrics.
• Strong project-management, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines without losing accountability.
• Comfortable working directly with executives, managers, customer-service employees, technicians and outside vendors.
• Experience in home services, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, automotive, healthcare or another local consumer-services industry is preferred.
• Experience with Service Titan or another CRM is preferred.
• Experience supporting a rebranding initiative is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field is preferred but not required when the candidate has strong relevant experience.
