North Carolina Courage is seeking a Marketing Intern for the 2027 ROAR Internship Program in Raleigh, NC. The internship runs February 2027 to November 2027 and offers real-world experience in a professional sports setting.

As part of the Marketing Department, you will support app content, email campaigns, social media, and event promotions, while building a strong portfolio and learning from mentors in the sports industry.

Qualifications

• At least a junior in a 4-year degree seeking program.
• Strong interest in professional sports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Mobile App Support: Draft and send push notifications and refresh app content.
• Design & Creative Support: Create simple graphics and ensure brand consistency.
• Email Marketing: Build and send emails; grow and retain subscribers.
• Website Support: Update webpages and manage content.
• Game Day & Event Support: Assist with in-stadium marketing and events.
