Job summary

Cognizant AI Lab in San Francisco hires a Marketing Intern to help tell the story of AI research, technology, and people shaping the future. You’ll collaborate with researchers, engineers, and industry leaders to build awareness of our work and impact.

You will manage social content, contribute to event planning, update the Lab website, and create educational content for the Agent Academy while tracking campaign performance to identify improvements.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to turn complex topics into clear and engaging content for blogs and newsletters.
• Interest in event marketing, including identifying conferences and speaking opportunities, pitching speakers, and supporting event planning and execution.
• Social media savvy, with a strong understanding of platforms such as LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Reddit and what makes content engaging across different channels.
• Creative, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

About the role

As a Marketing Intern, you will make an impact by helping tell the story of the research, technology, and people shaping the future of AI at Cognizant AI Lab. You will be a valued member of the Cognizant AI Lab marketing team and work collaboratively with researchers, engineers, and AI industry leaders.

In this role, you will

Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in San Francisco, California . What you need to have to be considered

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2026.

• The hourly rate for this position is between $25.00 – $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
• This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
