Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a Marketing Intern to start in September at 701 Oakland Ave., Rock Hill, SC. This role supports the Marketing Manager to promote the dining program at Winthrop University and gain hands-on experience in events, social media, and promotions.

Responsibilities include planning events, developing social media content, conducting marketing audits, and creating promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service experience or knowledge.
• Knowledge of social media platforms.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• General interest and knowledge in marketing.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus.
• Prior marketing related experience is a plus.
• Event planning or execution experience.

General Description

In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement and promote the dining program at Winthrop University. This involves research to understand the needs of the target market, planning and brainstorming, promotions and advertising through various platforms, and implementation. This internship offers opportunities to spearhead projects and expand your knowledge base.
