Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a Marketing Intern to start in September at 701 Oakland Ave., Rock Hill, SC. This role supports the Marketing Manager to promote the dining program at Winthrop University and gain hands-on experience in events, social media, and promotions.

Responsibilities include planning events, developing social media content, conducting marketing audits, and creating promotional materials.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service experience or knowledge.
• Knowledge of social media platforms.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• General interest and knowledge in marketing.
• Knowledge of graphic design tools is a plus.
• Prior marketing related experience is a plus.
• Event planning or execution experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, and hosting events.
• Assist with Dine on Campus initiatives.
• Assist in social media calendar development and promotions.
• Act as a brand representative.
• Conduct marketing audits.
• Complete general administrative tasks.
• Complete Marketing Boot Camp.
• Survey students to collect marketing research.
• Create marketing materials to various specifications.
• Manage signage in multiple locations.
• Assist in creating concepts, campaigns, and imagery to effectively communicate messages to the target market.
• Manage website and social networking profile content.
• Attend meetings or other events as required.
