Responsibilities

• Support strategic development and execution of internal and external marketing efforts (this could include some design work).
• Assist with marketing operations (calendar, billing, and monthly deliverables).
• Assist with tracking and reporting of all internal efforts to help refine and improve efforts on-going.
• Help to keep website current, relevant and information accurate (working with other departments).
• Assist with marketing events and activities.
• Conduct market and consumer research.

Virginia Green’s Summer Internship Program gives students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to real projects across a variety of departments.

Day in the Life:

• Support strategic development and execution of internal and external marketing efforts (this could include some design work)

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills – detailed oriented
• Knowledge of social networking channels
• Familiar with CRM databases
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of web site design and development a plus
• Knowledge of Google Analytics a plus

Education and Experience

• Must be a current college student in good standing: Marketing, Advertising or Communications majors preferred.

Minimum Physical Requirements

• Walking, standing, bending, reaching, and twisting
• Ability to use computer keyboard and monitor for extended periods
• Ability to lift approximately 15‑20 lbs.

$18 - $19 an hour

The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
