• Must have or be working towards a marketing degree.
• This is an entry-level position; previous experience is not required.
• Hands-on work experience in the specified function is helpful.
• Program will run tentatively beginning in September – November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Special event execution, including activation set up and breakdown, consumer engagement, and sampling.
• Assist as needed on point of sale and promotional tools inventory management.
• Special projects as it relates to priority brand initiatives, brand activations, and annual planning.
• Shadow and participate in marketing meetings and presentations to gain insight and experience.
• Assist as needed with execution of consumer sweepstakes prizing and influencer item fulfillment.
• Assist in PR, influencer and media sample fulfillment.
• Competitive activity and industry trend research.
• Assist in content creation props procurement and event material inventory management.
• Assist sales and marketing teams in special event execution, including activation set up and breakdown, consumer engagement and sampling.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as necessary
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Frequent stooping, bending, pulling, and pushing
• Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or drag up to fifty (50) pounds if necessary
• Will work in various outdoor weather conditions, including frequent exposure to the cold, sun, and heat.
• Will be required to do light traveling around the Kansas City area.
