Job summary

PSQ Productions is seeking a creative Marketing Intern to join our Event & Live Entertainment team in Irvine. This hands-on internship focuses on digital content, grassroots campaigns, day-of event activation, and general marketing support across projects.

You’ll work with the marketing team on social media content, email marketing, and influencer outreach, gaining real-world experience in event promotion and experiential marketing.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Event Management, or related field.
• Strong passion for live events, music, and pop culture.
• Excellent written communication and a good eye for design/content trends.
• Social media savvy (Instagram Reels & TikTok) and proactive in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with social media content creation for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X (video clips, graphics, reels, captions, trends).
• Support marketing activations, street team activations, and flyer distribution.
• Schedule and monitor posts using Sprouts Social or Meta.
• Contribute to marketing brainstorms and trend research; help manage photo/video content folders.
• On-site support at events, night markets, and concerts (evenings/weekends).
• Assist with email marketing copy, website updates, and press/influencer outreach.

Minimum Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Event Management, or a related field

• Social media savvy (especially Instagram Reels & TikTok)
• Reliable, proactive, and ready to work in a fast-paced, creative environment
• Comfortable engaging with the public during activations

Bonus Points

• Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, CapCut, or similar tools
• Familiarity with Orange County venues or SoCal events scene
• Past involvement in school clubs, street teams, or event promotion
