You will join a small, highly technical team in San Francisco to shape brand voice, grow inbound interest, and run memorable events for a deeply technical community.

The role translates complex RL concepts into compelling narratives for researchers and engineers, guiding content strategy, storytelling, and event programs.

Qualifications

• 2–7 years in marketing, content, or community roles at startups.
• Proven ability to grow social accounts or brand at an early stage.
• A writing portfolio showing ability to explain technical products clearly.
• Experience planning and running events, meetups, or community programs.
• Must be AI-native with active presence in AI communities.
• Background marketing AI/ML, developer tools, or technical platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the overall marketing strategy and content calendar across channels.
• Lead social media presence on X/Twitter and LinkedIn to grow audience and inbound interest.
• Ghostwrite high-quality content for founders communicating product vision and platform wins.

• Develop and refine brand voice, positioning, and storytelling across channels.
• Experiment with content formats and focus on what drives measurable results.
• Identify high-leverage event opportunities, including conferences and hackathons.

• Support the team with event presence, including speaker and talk logistics.

What We're Looking For

• 2 to 7 years of experience in marketing, content, or community roles at startups.
• Strong track record of growing social accounts or company branding from an early stage.
• A writing portfolio demonstrating the ability to understand technical products and explain them accurately and simply.
• Proven experience planning and running events, meetups, or community programs end-to-end.
• Must be AI-native, with an active presence in AI communities and a genuine understanding of the current AI landscape.
• Background marketing AI/ML, developer tools, or technical platforms; consumer or influencer marketing experience alone is not sufficient.
• Existing network within RL research, RL engineering, or the broader technical startup community.
• Familiarity with analytics tools and growth strategies for social and content channels.
• Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, early-stage environment with limited direction.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000 to $150,000 USD annually.

Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, CA. Candidates must be based in San Francisco or willing to relocate, as the role requires regular in-person collaboration.
