Job summary

Penn State University is seeking creative, motivated students to support its innovation and entrepreneurship programming in the Northeast Regional LaunchBox Hubs. This part-time role offers up to 20 hours per week, with flexible hours and events in the Hazleton and Scranton campuses.

You will create marketing materials using Canva and Adobe Express, post content on social media, help maintain LaunchBox websites, collect data, and assist with events and outreach to raise campus and community

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and contribute as part of a team.
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Express, and/or other design tools preferred.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish and English) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Creating marketing materials for LaunchBox programs and events using Canva, Adobe Express, and other design tools.
• Developing and posting content on social media platforms.
• Assisting in maintaining and updating LaunchBox websites.
• Supporting data collection and preparing reporting sheets to track impact and engagement.
• Assisting with event logistics, including administrative support, setup, and on-site coordination.
• Providing input for strategic marketing and outreach to increase visibility on campus and in the community.
• Conducting client intake and reporting client information to LaunchBox staff.
