Job summary

Professional Insurance Agents of Indiana is seeking a Marketing & Engagement Coordinator to support association marketing and member services in a collaborative, small-office environment in Indiana. You will develop marketing plans, create pieces for digital and print channels, and help run the association’s bi-monthly magazine.

The role involves coordinating Young Agent events and assisting with membership processing and database updates, while delivering high-level service to Members.

Qualifications

• Experience working for an association in marketing/communications is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe programs is required.
• Strong copyediting, writing, design and organizational skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented and a team player who can engage with new people.

We are a statewide Membership association for independent insurance agents, and we are seeking a Marketing & Engagement Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for the right person to assist with our association’s marketing and provide excellent service to our Members. Our small office allows for high levels of collaboration and fun while serving our Members.

Duties

• Identify the need for and create marketing plans.
• Generate marketing pieces for the association – email marketing, print pieces, and social media content.
• Plan, design, and execute the association’s bi-monthly magazine.
• Coordinates Young Agent (YPIA) events & works with our Young Agents Committee throughout the year.
• Process Membership applications & renewals and assist with updating the database.
• Provide Members with assistance as needed.

Ideal candidates will

• Have prior experience working for an association, specifically in the area of marketing/communications (highly preferred).
• Be proficient in all Microsoft Office & Adobe programs and willing to learn new software as needed.
• Have strong copyediting, writing, design, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented
• Be a team player, willing to jump in to assist co-workers when needed
• Enjoy and be comfortable meeting and engaging new people
