Optimeal is a premium, European brand of pet food produced by Kormotech - a family-owned company with over 20 years of experience in the pet food industry. Optimeal is manufactured at the company's own facilities, comprising three high-tech plants. Recognized by Petfood Industry magazine among top 50 pet food manufacturers in the world, our branded and private label products are available today in more than 40 countries across the globe. Having launched in the US in 2021 Optimeal is now sold on Amazon, Chewy and across a range of independent stores on the East Coast.

Role Description

We are looking for a fast-paced, hands-on Marketing Director (US) to lead our omnichannel marketing strategy and execution in the US. Joining a scrappy remote team, you will be responsible for a consistent brand presentation across all channels, finding creative ways of spreading our message and overseeing all marketing efforts. Reporting to the Head of US, you will set the roadmap for building brand awareness and testing different channels and messages. We are looking for highly energetic individuals who are comfortable managing an international marketing team and operating autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Own the Optimeal brand voice and tone, ensuring consistent messaging and product positioning across all platforms and packaging
• Develop and implement the annual marketing plans and brand budget
• Being equal parts commercial and creative, devise the go-to-market commercialization plan and content architecture
• Manage marketing team consisting of 4 people, own and oversee agency relationships and partners to deliver content
• Build brand awareness through partnerships, owned and earned media, sampling and other channels

Ideal Qualifications

• Proven track record of effective marketing execution for an omnichannel consumer brand
• 5+ years in CPG, pet industry experience a plus
• Comfortable leading and mentoring a remote marketing team across various time zones
• Broad experience in brand management/digital execution in the omni-channel environment (Amazon/DTC/Retail)
• Experience testing different channels and prioritizing for growth
• Strong analytical acumen with experienced managing budgets and owning reporting
• Entrepreneurial spirit who has a passion for innovation and thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
