Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the marketing field.
  • A/E/C industry experience is preferred.
  • At least 5+ years in a leadership or managerial position.
  • Demonstrated success in securing significant contracts and building market position through strategic prepositioning and client relationship development.
  • CPSM certification is preferred.
  • Excellent writing, editing and research skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office suite and basic Adobe Photoshop.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with HTML, content management systems, and design software.
  • Creative thinker with the energy and initiative to develop campaigns, events, and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the leadership team in developing and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans, including brand positioning, target audience identification, and campaign strategies.
  • Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s business activities.
  • Drive the company’s marketing strategies through social media, events, promotional materials, press releases, and written content.
  • Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive client interest and sales.
  • Develop and launch marketing campaigns across multiple channels including digital, social media, print, and events.
  • Produce valuable content for the company’s online presence and organize the company’s publications and proposals.
  • Manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • Write articles, case studies, and white papers.
  • Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, prepare engaging displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness and make data-driven adjustments.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through data analysis.
  • Conduct meetings with the executive team to review pipelines, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions.
  • Help maintain and update the company’s website, ensuring optimal user experience.
  • Support public relations efforts by drafting press releases and managing media inquiries.
  • Actively participate in professional and community organizations, including SMPS.
  • Oversee storyboarding for professional photography and videography.
  • Conduct market analysis to understand competitor landscape, consumer trends, and market opportunities.
  • Interpret research on political, economic, social, technological, environmental, and legal trends for marketing and business implications.
  • Lead SWOT analyses in collaboration with leadership.
  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies.
  • Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team.
  • Leads and manages a team of marketing professionals across various disciplines like digital marketing, content creation, proposal writing, and social media.
  • Works with other departments like human resources to align marketing efforts with overall business goals and recruitment.
  • Identify short- and long-term scheduling and resource needs, including development and management of annual marketing budget, profit-and-loss projections, and expenditures.
  • Represent the firm to clients, peer organizations, and business associates.
  • Participate in interview preparation.
  • Leads early strategic planning for successful, competitive submittals and proposals.

The Marketing Director is responsible for executing comprehensive marketing strategies driving the company’s growth through strategic marketing leadership. The position works closely with the company’s executive team to build a brand that exemplifies the company’s mission, values, and services. The director oversees requests for proposals and marketing campaigns, manages the marketing team, analyzes and reports on marketing data, and drives brand awareness to attract and retain clients.

What You'll Do:

Strategic Development:
