Job summary

fomo, a trading app, is hiring a junior-mid level Brand Designer to translate product and brand direction into high-quality visuals. You will collaborate with GTM, Product, and Marketing on campaigns and launches, delivering craft at scale with pace and accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of experience in brand or marketing design, a strong portfolio, and comfort working within an established system. This position is in-person in NYC with room to grow ownership over time.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in brand, graphic, or marketing design (agency, consumer app, or culture-forward brand is a plus).
• Portfolio showing high craft: typography, composition, and polished assets.
• Comfort working within an existing brand system and scaling across formats.

About the role

You’ll sit at the intersection of design and marketing, helping turn product and brand direction into shipped creative. You’ll partner with GTM and Product on campaigns and launches, and build craft through high-volume, high-quality execution. This is a junior-mid level role: strong fundamentals, range, and speed matter more than years of art-directing agencies. You’ll get clear briefs, tight feedback loops, and room to grow ownership over time.

Role and responsibilities

• Bring the fomo brand to life across digital, social, paid, and experiential channels




• Craft pixel-perfect designs under real timelines: composition, type, and detail that hold up next to product




• Support product marketing and brand campaigns: UI-led stills, key visuals, and campaign extensions under direction




• Apply and protect the fomo brand system (type, color, lockup, layout, visual language) across every touchpoint




• Prepare clean files for handoff to motion contractors and vendors




• Collaborate tightly with marketing, product and design partners; take feedback well and iterate fast

This role is in-person in NYC. We have a strong in-person culture and a spacious office in SoHo.

Ideal candidate

• ~1-3 years in brand, graphic, or marketing design (agency, consumer app, or culture-forward brand is a plus)




• Portfolio that shows high craft: typography, composition, and polished shipped assets.




• Comfortable working inside an existing system and making it sing across many formats




• Thrives in a fast, iterative environment




• Strong collaborator with marketing and product partners




• Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; willing to experiment with new tools




• Personal crypto / trading experience is a plus. The whole team trades and dogfoods the product




• Motion skills are a plus
