Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Marketing Intern in Seattle to support marketing and business development efforts, including communications, events, projects, and research. You'll work with the marketing team to create graphics, maintain data, and ensure brand consistency across digital channels.

You'll gain hands-on experience, collaborate across teams, and learn from professionals while contributing to real projects during the May–August 2027 program.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate, four‑year degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, Business, or other related degree.
• Have previous related internship experience.
• Are currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior.
• Have a basic understanding of construction and generally accepted business practices.
• Have thorough prior experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing and business development efforts including internal and external communications, events, projects, and research.
• Maintain personnel and project data, files, and systems in company databases and network files.
• Create and organize graphics and photography for marketing purposes using graphic design software to produce graphics, logos, and layouts.
• Collaborate with the local marketing team and corporate partners to develop concepts and execute designs.
• Assist with researching external partner organizations to support the business development team.
• Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels in your work.
• Research and implement current design trends and techniques.
