Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Marketing Intern in Phoenix to support the marketing and business development teams. You will assist with internal/external communications, events, projects, and research, gaining hands-on experience from day one.

You will collaborate across teams, help maintain branding across digital channels, and develop graphics with Adobe Creative Suite. The internship runs May–August 2027 and offers pathways to meaningful career growth.

Qualifications

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Experience with Adobe InDesign.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
Attention to detail and understanding of branding and design principles.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

Support internal communications and proposals by gathering and verifying project and team information.
Maintain personnel and project data, files, and systems in company databases and networks.
Create and organize graphics and photography; use design software to craft layouts.
Collaborate with local and corporate marketing to develop concepts and execute designs.
Research external partners to support business development efforts.
Maintain brand consistency across digital channels.
Research and implement current design trends and techniques.
