Job summary

Gun Lake Casino Resort seeks a Marketing Database Manager to drive database marketing strategies across direct mail, email, text, and app channels. You will own campaign design, segmentation, uploads, creative development, and communications while maintaining data integrity and regulatory compliance.

You will leverage SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI to analyze performance, present insights to leadership, and partner with IT to optimize systems and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university with a concentration in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field required.
• Four (4) years of specialized experience in casino database or related with at least two (2) years of management experience required.
• Work experience in the gaming or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Must have SQL Server and SQL Server Reporting Services experience.
• Experience utilizing Power BI or similar business intelligence and dashboarding tools to develop reports, visualize data, and communicate actionable business insights.
• Demonstrated ability to research and report on problems and solutions with a fine attention to detail.
• Proven experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques.
• Proven knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices.
• Must be able to obtain a gaming license through the Gun Lake Tribal Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement all database marketing initiatives including direct mail, email, text, and app campaigns.
• Oversee strategic direction, segmentation, offer uploads, creative development, and communications for campaigns.
• Ensure database integrity and protection of proprietary guest information and gaming data.
• Monitor database health and campaign KPIs; produce reports on profitability of database programs.
• Adhere to regulatory, company, and departmental policies and procedures.
• Present data-driven analyses and recommendations to leadership for strategic decisions.
• Provide Pro Formas of campaigns for analysis by the P&A team.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to identify IT improvements to reduce costs and increase revenue.
• Stay updated on competitive database programs and technology.
