Job summary

Clark College in Detroit, MI is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to tell our project stories and support Southeast Michigan marketing efforts.

You’ll join a small team, coordinating proposals, preparing for interviews, designing materials in InDesign, and turning data into readable charts for owners. The role includes social content creation, website updates, and event planning to win projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Two or more years of experience in marketing, graphic design, content development, or communications.
• Clear and engaging writing; prefer substance over style.
• Strong organization to handle multiple deadlines in a week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate proposals, qualifications packages, and prebond campaigns from kickoff to delivery with project executives and teams.
• Design proposals and presentations in InDesign that reflect Clark’s style.
• Help project teams prepare for interviews with slides, boards, handouts, and rehearsals.
• Turn project data into clear charts and graphics for quick owner understanding.
• Maintain resumes, project data, and contact information in the CRM.
• Keep boilerplate and reusable content up to date.
• Create social media content and help keep the website current.
• Plan and support events from groundbreakings to company gatherings.
